Mommy and Prince Bendyk
I have a lot of things to blog about, my family, career, life's journey, and a lot more. I just dunno where and how to start. It makes me feel a newbie here. It's been so long since I had my fingers on this stuff. Sigh, but it's true.
The three of us are still the same, playing "bahay-bahayan". There may be slight changes on our lifestyle, and it inspires us even more to look into our prince's future. And all these things aren't possible without God's untiring love and blessings. Glory to you O' Lord!
Working at PS is something that I am already enjoying. It's so fun to be with different personalities. It makes your world a little bit larger than before. Working gets even better as before when you are around with jolly friends and colleagues, supportive sups and QA analysts plus weekly and monthly contests with big prizes at stake.
Got so many stories to tell, and as always, the busy me need to say ciao now...

It's been a while. As much as I wanted to update this blog, I just can't when a lot of work is on queu. Alright, so now I got this very limited chance of getting through my fingers...
So where have I been for the past few weeks?
September 14-20, 2009 - We spent a week-long "vacation?" in Citihomes. It was a vacation for all of them, but not me...I had my shift at night, and needs to beat my deadline for the proposal. It's not a marriage proposal, oh no! It's a business proposal that I need to accomplish. I had to multi-task and wish there is beyond 24/7...
After a week, we were back here in Camella. Finally, I had to catch a few hours of sleep everyday. It was another stressful week at work. This time, it's not just those iRate Cx, but also those never-ending changes on stats. Oh well, it's alright but the thing is, there is another shift bidding event. And guess what?! My new sched is 10x5 (M-F ; 9:30pm-6:30am) so I had to go to work 5x a week instead of 4x a week huhuhu!
And since it's another Monday today, YOURS TRULY is now signing off...Until next time! Ciao!

It's holiday in the US yipee! Unfortunately, I had to work tomorrow night (my off until Wednesday) in behalf of tonight's supposed work schedule grrrr! I thought I'll be having a super bonggang off from work this week, sigh!
Yesterday morning, I filed a VTO (voluntary time off), but I want it to take effect at 6:00am. Since there were no enough calls then, my sup said "ok!" but she told me to log out at 2:30am...Gosh! It's too early, grrr! Rhea and Kitkat envied me so they also filed a VTO. Where did we spend the rest of the hours? We had a food trip and headed our way to the sleeping room. We were hibernating until 6am. ZzZzzzzz...
Enough for this. It's time to go and check my facebook account...Ciao!

What's new? Hmmm...I'm creating another set of blogs (Again?!), sleeping a lot, getting caught in traffic (excuses, excuses, excuses...for being late this week, hayz!) I just don't like my new sched at work (MWFS: 9pm-8am)...What else? Well, I'll try to gain back my senses first. It seems that I am already talking about nonsense here hahaha!
Ciao for now and watch out for my new set of blogs...Mwah!

Last night, as soon as I got home, I went to the kitchen and made my specialty salad: Avocado-Banana Salad ala Kristelita. I poured in lots of condensed milk over ice cubes on the bowl and the result is oh so yummy dessert! And up until now, I'm still savoring its taste! I still waaaant some more!
Gosh! I'll be meeting my brother in Makati Ave. tonight. So I have to be there 2 hours before my shift, which is at 10pm tonight. He just arrived this morning for his 1 day training and he'll be back home (Legazpi) tomorrow morning. I have to prepare now...ciao!

It's our Graduation Day! Yes! Our training for R_____ D_____ account is finally over. And I must say that we will all gonna miss it for it's the time when our (batch 16) friendship started from the Client Specific towards the Nesting period. And since it's our Graduation Day and as promised by our training supervisor, we were given the opportunity to choose our own schedule according to our ranks. But before we left the "confession room", the team with the lowest revenue headed by TA Tinkerbell showed us their groovin' moves which made us all screamin' with excitement. Then we all went down at the lobby area to wait for the RD Supervisors and auditors. We were supposed to celebrate our Graduation Day at Ms. Sup's home in Antipolo, but it's too far so we just settled at Rufo's restaurant. We munched on Rufo's special tapa, which is super yummy! And the next thing I knew, our table was already filled with buckets of beers courtesy of the sups and auditors. I preferred not to drink much of beer because I still had to travel from Makati to Cavite huhuhu! Omi kept on giving us bottles of beer and we just can't say NO. I was already tipsy when I emptied a bottle of beer so I cheated on them hahaha!

But I'll work on them ASAP. An hour might lessen the pending loads that I heart to do than work on these repetitive routine, articles, SEO, data entry, etc. So I will try to include them in my hectic schedule.
In the meantime, le'mme show you my 'lil Tarzan's 3rd Birthday Cake. Simple, yet cutie lol! Oh btw, I'm proud to say that I didn't spend a lot on this cake. The thrifty me didn't like the idea of ordering a birthday cake for a price of P800+ especially if the design doesn't suit my taste so I decided to work on the design by myself (yipee!). I'll tell you more about it next time.

- I was worried about my kiddo's appetite. He didn't like eating meals. He only ate biscuits and sipped his milk. I was wondering if the problem is with his milk or vitamins. For a few months now, I changed his milk from Enfagrow A+ to Lactum 1+ Chocolate flavor simply because I want him to gain some fats, but Lactum 1+ Chocolate flavor has no effect on him.
I also considered his vitamins. I've been partnering his Ceelin Syrup vitamins with:
3. Bendyk and I went malling a week ago. And he pissed me off because he'd go away from me to look for some things that interest him. He's like that when we're at the mall so I thought that maybe he's just around and has been keeping his eyes on where I am. I was carrying heavy bags that afternoon, so I didn't hold his hand on our way out of the mall. But I know he's following me when we passed by McDonald's. But before reaching the exit, I was astounded to find out that Bendyk wasn't with me.
I was really worried at that time and had 3 rounds to and fro the area where I last saw him. The mall was crowded then because the city is celebrating its fiesta. I decided to leave my grocery bags at the guard and headed my way to search for my kiddo. I was so happy to see him safe, roaming in circles close to the package counter. He was not crying then. He was only staring down the floor and roamed in circles. But when I got near him, He hugged me too tight and all of a sudden outburst his tears. I know right then that he was frightened when he didn't find me. My heart melted of seeing him like that. The people around had no idea that my boy was lost. They didn't even see him crying so they thought that he was just playing around.
It taught me a lesson and I bet my kiddo too. I've come to know him better. He is a brave kid who wants to keep his ego untouched when with strange people around. And he found my love and comfort enough to melt his heart.
4. My mom, our prince and I went malling two weeks ago and had our snacks at Jollibee. A service crew approached me and asked if I want to let my kiddo join their Halloween Costume Party. My kiddo heard it and confirmed that he really wanted to join the party. And since it's for my prince, I bought 4 tickets to the party, for him, mom, Jom, and of course for me.

6. It's All Saint's Day, but we already went to the cemetery as part of the tradition. The weather isn't good tonight so we hadn't stayed longer in the cemetery unlike before that we used to have a picnic style at Bicol Memorial Park. Tonight, we just lit candles to our loved-ones' tomb and uttered a 'lil prayer.
7. Yea, I've been very busy for the past few days (weeks), and up until now I have not yet made up my mind on what to prepare for my kiddo's upcoming 3rd birthday. It'll already be on the 5th of November and I haven't bought anything yet. I was thinking if we will have a pool party or a simple animal party theme at home. I'll settle on some DIY stuffs for his birthday to save from too much expenses. His first birthday party taught me a lesson to not spend more for things that I can prepare for myself. Yea, practicality knocks on me again. It's good though. Why spend a lot for a kiddie party? Kids aren't so demanding unlike adults. They can be happy for simple things, and not for a extravagant party, right?
I'll be very much busy tomorrow for a 3-day preparation for my kiddo's 3rd birthday party. I haven't even sent invitations yet. I'll make a list as early as tomorrow. I'll update you by then...
Anyway, we waited for hubby to arrive from his trip. While waiting, mom and my youngest brother came over at Mama's house (Hubby's granny) and brought some imported choc'lets to Bendyk and clothes (pasalubong from mom's uncle in the U.S.). I was actually surprised that mom visited us since we're not in good terms before we left. I was only expecting my youngest brother when he texted me that he'll be coming over to play with Bendyk. Well, I am so much happy that mom and I are okay now. She must have realized what I meant when we had our last conflict.
I'm still the soft-hearted person who would always have the heart melt so soon. So far, so good. I just keep on praying that may God help us to get our family back into shape again. I just dunno about my dad, who I heard enjoying in other's arms. Too bad. And that hurts me more, and I guess much more to my mom. Sigh! Anyway, I pity my mom so much that I wanted to help her despite the conflict we had a month ago. So there I was, I didn't wait for any word; I just helped her even for simple things. And I told my brother to come with us for we are going to shop for his school needs. I so much heart and pity my youngest brother because at a very young age, he already witnessed how ironic a broken home is. As her ate, I want to give him the best as long as I can just to let him feel the love and care of a family. My bro. who's in Manila right now and I are much closer now unlike before that we were like cat and dog. We talked about our plans for the family, for mom and our youngest brother. And it really feels good that we are talking that way. We are just hoping that everything will be alright. As for our dad, we keep on hoping and praying that he may realized how he's been hurting us. We are not closing our doors. He is still our dad. Hope he would change soon. Hayyyzzz....
Anyhoo, the day went well. We are already starving so we just had our dinner at Jollibee (I know, I told myself to limit from spending much for impracticality...oh well, hahaha! tomorrow nah again, lolz!) At National Bookstore, I have chosen a dozen of Disney cartoon characters notebooks. But when I showed them to my bro. he just shrugged his shoulders off. Yea, he didn't like any of them. He told me that he's not a kid anymore. I was laughing then when I looked at him and realized that our family baby has "completely?" grown-up. He told me that he'd rather want the Ragnarok covers than the Disney cartoons. So the ate can't do anything about it but to let him choose what he really wants. While Bendyk who's already holding his new set of crayons keeps bragging his dad with matching tears to get him the Pokemon coloring book. Oh dear, Pokemon may be free on TV when you watch it, but this time it costs too much for a coloring book. How did he find it, anyway?! He just looked around and stumbled it on one of the shelves! Grrr! After paying for the school supplies, my bro. told me that he doesn't have a bag. Oh my! another expenses again??!!! Mom bought him a Montanara bag 5 months before the class had ended. Hayyzzz! I almost scold him thinking that he didn't take good care of it. Kasi naman tong pasaway naming bro.dinala pala sa Manila yung bag! Grrr!!! Relax! Relax! Yaka pa hahaha! So there we were buying a Nike bag at the mall. The thrifty me would wish to buy the cheapest bag. But hello?! Until when naman kaya yun sa bro. ko?! Dati monthly kung magpalit ng bag sa dami ba naman kasing books pinapadala ng titser ngmumukha na ngang pagong bro. ko...hayyyzz! So instead of buying a "disposable" bag I'd rather go for a high quality bag na lang, long lasting naman. Eh, long lasting naman kaya datung ko? Waaahhh! Shower me with riches naman mga millionaires and billionaires jan, lolz!
And then we had some groceries before we headed our way out of the mall. My youngest bro. sleeps here with us for tonight. They just had fun coloring Bendyk's book while watching their fave "Joaquin Bordado and Lobo" I'm also an avid fan hehehe! So no arguments...lolz!
Hey! Hey! You gotta have some break 'cause there are a lot of things to be done...I almost forgot. Hayyyzz! The procrastinator again, lolz! I dunno where to start, I don't even know how...So let me have some focus now. The procrastinator is signing off while the busy bee will be signing on...Goodnight! Mwaaahhh!

Soon, I'll be coming home, Manila, Manila...hahaha! napakanta na, lolz! Anyway, I hope and pray that hubby may have a safe trip to and fro Manila. While Bendyk and I are left here but tonight and the following night, hubby's cousin will be staying here with us.
Anyhoo, I started the day cleaning the house, rearranging stuffs from one corner to another and so far it feels good to touch them once again. You see, I've always been a frustrated interior designer so expect everything inside the house to be rearranged once a week or at least twice a month. It makes me feel oh so damn goood!
Done with the general cleaning and assisted my prince bendyk in his milky bubble bath. My prince looks fresh again so I turned on the TV so he could watch his anticipated fave show, wowowee. While the wifey momma went to the kitchen to cook for our lunch. Hubby is at work so no one would cook for Bendyk and me. (sigh!) I found fresh longaniza and was confused on how to cook it the right way. I forgot to ask hubby about it before he left.
Well, I imagined how it looks like when cooked so I figured out the procedures. I washed the longaniza first before putting them on the pan. And then I half-filled the pan with water, and put it in the stove, covered them and waited for a few minutes until the water boiled. I picked every piece of longanizas and sliced each into thin pieces. After that, I put a little cooking oil in an empty pan, put the longanizas on it, sprinkled a pint of sugar to caramelize and put them on the stove. I tossed and turned them on the pan so they won't get burned.
When you try to look at it closely, you'll notice that some part are a 'lil burned. I found out that cooking this kind of dish sticks on the pan so I had to gather extra effort just to toss and turn them. About the taste, well...I must admit that it doesn't taste good. It's some kinda sour and a bit sweet. I dunno if the problem is with my cooking or the mixture of the one who made it. Sigh! Better luck next time christelle, hehehe!
After lunch, cleaned the table and washed the dirty dishes on the sink, I took a bath and interact once again with my techie-buddy. I have a lot of online work to do. You see, I resigned from my job, but it doesn't mean that I don't work anymore. I deal with data entry, social marketing, and monetized blogging so expect me to be busy everyday like when I was still working in a real office.
