A Wifey Momma

Mommy and Prince Bendyk

It's Christmas, and le'mme greet you all a Merry merry merry Christmas! May we all feel the spirit of Christmas not only today, but all year long and the coming years.

How's our Christmas? Well, it's super duper merry and exciting. It's an annual celebration here to celebrate a Christmas party. We had our exchange gifts and had various party games at the rooftop. The games are the highlight of the party because Santa Claus (Uncle Harry) just arrived home from Hong Kong before the game started. He was in charge for the cash prizes, of course hehehe! We all enjoyed the games and everyone was screaming with excitement even the oldies. Before 12 midnight, we went downstairs for our sumptuous Noche Buena.

We all filled our tummy with different foods served at the table. And then Auntie Neth and Santa Claus came carrying Fossil paper bags on their hands. Of course, everyone got very excited again upon seeing the bags. We already had a clue that what's inside if not Fossil watches, either Guess, DKNY or Adidas wristwatches since they also supply these brands. Santa Claus works for a company that produces and supplies branded watches so it's always our wish to have one of their branded wristwatches. They called our names one by one. And when my name was called, yours truly was beaming with smile hahaha! Who wouldn't be, it's a DKNY
watch! Yohoo! 2 Years ago, the Santa Claus couple gave me a Guess wristwatch with diamond stones around it. This time, it's a DKNY gold wristwatch with black stones on its bracelet. Thank you Auntie Neth and Uncle Harry! I had the best Fossil watch among the Fossil watches that night hahaha! We were all teasing about that. Hubby got an Adidas black stainless steel wristwatch and it looks really great too. Our prince since he's still a baby got 3 little cute turtles inside a Fossil case and he liked it very much. He also got a doggie stuff toy. He treated them as for real hahaha! Auntie Neth gave him a pair of Jersey and a Converse shoes.

If the Santa couple gave us their presents, we also gave them a very special and creative present which yours truly wholeheartedly created. It's a digiscrap album where each beloved pamangkin has photos in it with a message for the couple. I encoded our messages and uploaded our photos when I created that digiscrap at Netopi@ since dial-up connection is darn slow at home. For the final touches, Melyn and I bound the photo digiscrap sheets with a green Christmas paper yarn inserted in the holes which looks like a steno notebook but we tied the paper yarn and opened the last portions so as to make a big ribbon out of it. And since it's our gift, we wrapped it in a ready-made mint green paper wrapper and tied the ribbon at the center.

And guess what?! The couple was very happy to know that we also got a present for them. And they appreciate our effort of creating such gift. They both said that it's creative and really like it hehehe! How about you guys? How did you celebrate your Christmas? Hope we all had a merry Christmas this year! Merry Christmas once again! Mwah! Mwah!

at Netopi@

We reached Alabang Metropolis at exactly 5am this morning and arrived home in 30 minutes. We all went to bed to catch some sleep since we weren't able to sleep well at the bus. The temperature was very cold and we haven't brought blanket with us.

In the afternoon, we all went shopping in Manila. Errr...I guess, it was only our prince who had a shopping spree since Auntie Neth only gave us 3 hours to shop so as not to catch traffic on our way home. It was a quick shopping but I'm so happy to see my boy beaming with smile while holding his new toys and bullcap.

I am bored so I decided to go online here at Netopi@. SM Molino is a walking distance away from home. It's situated beside Citihomes Subd. so no worry if I go home late tonight which I usually do before during our stay here! Hubby will surely understand since 3 hours of shopping isn't satisfactory for me lol!

Off for a Joy Ride

I only had 3 hours of sleep and now we're off for a joy ride. Again?! Oh yea, as I've said we'll be celebrating our Christmas holiday in Cavite with hubby's family. And I'm afraid I might not be able to update this blog for a week or so. I wasn't able to get an unlimited internet flash drive as I am still weighing practicality over that matter.

We have reserved our seats just this morning at Amihan Bus Liner and will leave Legazpi at exactly 6:30 pm tonight. Hubby's 2 cousins and sister will be joining us in our trip. So I guess, it's a bye-bye for now! Happy Trip to us hehehe!

Ciao!

My 3-month old cute little cousin was baptized yesterday, December 20, 2008 at St. John the Baptist Church in Tabaco City, Albay. I volunteered myself to be one of his godmothers so to start portraying my role, I also volunteered to do the invitation, banner and event decoration at their home.

We slept there a night before the event so we can do the decoration stuff ahead of time. It was tiring but fulfilling especially when I feel like biting Jake Angelo's chubby face, legs and arms. He's really cute and huggable.

While I was organizing my files in my thumb drive, I happened to browse some photos which were taken months ago. And I smirk upon seeing how close my prince is to his dad even up to now. Please take a look at the photo below:

Hubby and our little prince

This photo was taken last summer at Wildlife Park & Zoo. It was actually our little prince who got a wish that we spend the weekend at the park. And it was a wish come true. Why did I choose to upload this photo? Oh well, it's nostalgic for me as a mom and a wifey. I am always feeling overwhelmed whenever I see them like that. Our little prince remained close to his dad. For him, his dad is his savior from my cruel hands and his Santa Claus who would give him whatever he wishes.

We were sitting at the grass then and the little prince kept seated on his dad's lap while they munch on our baon together. Just by looking at the photo draws smile on my lips as I am really proud to have them both in my life. They are my treasure whom Santa had given me as my wish. And I'm sure they also feel the same towards each other. That's why I am also treasuring this photo as my keepsake and CIEVA will help me with that. It's way better than other digital photo frames available. You will also get to join the contest and be a lucky winner of the $500 cash prize. 1 random entry will be drawn everyday so goodluck!

Joy Ride?!

Yesterday, I got an overseas call from hubby's aunt and she asked me if it's possible for us to celebrate Christmas with them in Cavite. She and her hubby will be coming over to spend Christmas in the Philippines. Hubby was also asked and he said yes. So I am starting to think that if it will be pushed through then it's gonna be a joy ride for us. We just arrived home from our Manila trip and on Sunday, we'll be leaving again for Manila then Cavite.

Oh well, it's gonna be a wonderful vacation for the three of us. Hubby and I really needed a break from our tiresome and stressful work. And for our little prince, we want him to go to different places and be exposed to things new to him so he'll get used to it.

In that case, I have to prepare my cam for more and more photos again, lol!

Late this afternoon, my prince and I went malling to eat our dinner. I've had enough with canned goods especially now that hubby is away from home again. So we decided to eat our dinner at the mall. After filling our tummy we stroll around the mall to find Christmas gift items for special people. It took me hours to decide which is best from better. That's actually me. I really have to think each shopping item over and over again. Comparison and budget are my bases when buying.

I only got two items bought for almost 3 hours of strolling around the mall. I'll do another set of rounds next time. But I have to make a list before I hit the mall again. Christmas really makes me feel generous again hahaha! Well, it's the spirit of Christmas that makes us all want to share some love to people close to our hearts. So if you think I am close to your heart, cash or goods are fine with me, lol!

But whether I receive a Christmas gift or not this Christmas, it's fine with me because I am already thinking of giving myself personalized holiday gifts. And I'm eyeing on that personalized thumb drive where I can put my name and some text on it through laser engraving. And since I also can't live without a pen, I am also planning to purchase that personalized pen from pexagontech.com which offers 3 unique styles.

Opp-300x300

If I were you guys, if you haven't gotten yourself a Christmas gift or you are thinking of the best gift that you can give to your special someone, I'd suggest that you get them a personalized thumb drive or a business card flash drive for busy people. I'm pretty sure that they will like it since everything is only a thumb away from them whenever they need their files or browse through photos, videos, or music files.

We left Legazpi on the 7th of December and spent 3 days in Manila. We had a quick but great vacation, especially my prince who got very excited in everything that he sees in places we went to. We arrived home on the 11th of December just after the sunrise. We are still tired and seemed overwhelmed of the "adventure" my prince and I had gone through since it was really never planned. As for my hubby, traveling is his cup of tea.

I've got a lot of stories to tell and photos as well. And speaking of photos, I haven't gotten a time yet to organize my files online and from my flash drive. That'll be my next assignment in the coming days. I really need to sore my ass now as I don't want 2009 to knock on me with a handful of backlogs. Sigh!

I'll keep you updated soon...I mean it soon hehehe! mwah mwah!

Economic crisis is overpowering almost everyone of us, and as a matter of fact has been hitting all over the world. At this time, spending for not-so-important things is no longer part of household's expenses. Thus, we tend to look for freebies or at least spend less. But since Christmastime is all around the corner, we never want to miss the chance of talking or chatting to our love-ones and friends from different parts of the world. Doing that would also mean spending bucks per minute. No worry though because you can do it by having a free chat through chat lines. You could also get to chat with adults to meet as friends by logging in the adult chat. So why spend more bucks of your money when you can save by grabbing this free adult chat.

Off to Manila

The impulsive me packed up some of our clothes just a while ago. Our little prince and I will be traveling with hubby on his trip to Manila tomorrow morning. He will be attending a meeting with his boss and fellow auditors. I dunno from where I got the idea of traveling again. The last time I went there was months ago errrr almost a year, I guess. And now my feet are itching and been telling me to walk far away from my native land. But this time, with my prince. It'll be his second time since I've been roaming around the big city when he was still in my tummy hehehe! yea, i was a lakwatserang tesbun then. My baby and I used to wait for his dad who's studying at AIMS then. Those were the days, hayz! kakamiss hehehe!

Oh well, need to sleep now. Hubby warned me that if I make tulog like a mantika again, he won't let us come with him huhuhu! The wifey momma is signing off...ciao!

I got pregnant at the age of 20 and every time I encounter new acquaintances, they can't believe that I am already a mom of a three-year old kid. Well, I can't blame them since I look petite and skinny. But what amazed them more is the fact that I have a flat belly and no stretch marks.

Oh well, I am just grateful that I maintained this body although I must admit that I still want to gain a bit fat since I am skinny. But whether I am fat or not, I always want to make sure that my belly isn't moving at all. If I feel some fats on my tummy, you can find me eating oatmeal. It's my favorite actually.

How about you? Are you having problems with your belly? If you do, then it's about time that you take a Flat Belly Diet like many women do. It will do you good, I tell you.

You must know the right healthy diet to achieve the body you want. And to help you with that, I'd suggest that you check on the site as it offers you more tips on how to maintain a flat belly no matter how many kids you've got. Stay sexy, and a flat belly diet can help you achieve that. Goodluck!

Birthday preps and celebration was over and I still got no time to organize the photos during my 'lil prince birthday celebration. I got my hands full right now so no matter how eager I am to blog about the party and also to update my old and newly created blogs as well as multiply accounts I really can't right now as I have lots of work to accomplish before November ends.

But I'll work on them ASAP. An hour might lessen the pending loads that I heart to do than work on these repetitive routine, articles, SEO, data entry, etc. So I will try to include them in my hectic schedule.

In the meantime, le'mme show you my 'lil Tarzan's 3rd Birthday Cake. Simple, yet cutie lol! Oh btw, I'm proud to say that I didn't spend a lot on this cake. The thrifty me didn't like the idea of ordering a birthday cake for a price of P800+ especially if the design doesn't suit my taste so I decided to work on the design by myself (yipee!). I'll tell you more about it next time.

Here it is...go and savor its oh so sweet and yummy taste!

If someone would dare to ask me what I have been holding on every time I get the chance to relax, my answer would definitely be, digital camera. Oh yes, I got this techie for almost a year now since I had it as my gift for myself last December 2007. You know what I love much about this digital camera? It’s the flexibility of the cam itself as I can use it anywhere with lights on or off, at home, malls, park, parties, and almost anywhere with no hassles.

And speaking of flexibility, this digital camera also builds harmony with my other favorite techies, such as LCD TV and my laptop. Now you may ask how I hold them altogether. Well, I am able to download my always recent digital photos and videos taken either through my TV or my laptop. And it feels great to see all of my crafts on screen. I feel great whenever I keep those memories in just a click of my finger on this wonderful and one of my best buddies, digital camera.

Of course, I won’t leave behind my TV and laptop. I treat them all as my best buddies. They are always handy and reliable when I get bored. Now that Christmas is fast approaching, I am starting to think what great gift I could offer myself for the hard work I do. One thing I am certain is that it’ll definitely be a techie again. Oh I love techie stuff! How about you guys? Don’t forget to reward yourself too. A digital camera is a great gift you will enjoy and the rest of the family and friends.

Alright, I know I know I've not been blogging for a few days (was it weeks) now. There are a lot of things that I needed to put my focus on. And my work is eating my time. Well, I don't mind it though since it's giving me more opportunities to earn dollars. Next in queue is my kid who's getting smarter and naughty now. As for my hubby, he is always away from home since his work requires him to travel to different provinces in the Bicol Region and Quezon Province as well. Also part of my busy-ness is our humble abode. I always keep it tidy, cute and organized. I can't just sit here and ignore my kiddo messing around. I also have to prepare for our meals and snacks, which is quite hard for me since I am not really into cooking. I bought 5 different cookbooks, but I haven't even flipped a single page from any of them hahaha! A lazy lass, alright!

It's already November, which prompted me to post here as I might lose track on what's going on in the blogosphere. And since it's the first day of November, I am trying to push myself to update my blogs at least once or twice a week. Hope promises aren't meant to be broken this time, lol! So le'mme sum up my escapades for the past few days (weeks)...

  1. I was worried about my kiddo's appetite. He didn't like eating meals. He only ate biscuits and sipped his milk. I was wondering if the problem is with his milk or vitamins. For a few months now, I changed his milk from Enfagrow A+ to Lactum 1+ Chocolate flavor simply because I want him to gain some fats, but Lactum 1+ Chocolate flavor has no effect on him.

I also considered his vitamins. I've been partnering his Ceelin Syrup vitamins with:

(1st) Nutrilin Syrup, (2nd) Growee Chlorella Syrup, (3) Tiki-Tiki Star Syrup

2. I was so desperate to help my kiddo gain weight. So I went to the nearest drugstore and asked if they have Propan Syrup for kids and if I can buy it without any doctor's prescription. I heard it from a lot of mommies that it is one of the best supplements that aids weight gain for kids. I also did some research on this and found out that it contains Buclizine HCl component, which has a metabolic effect to stimulate appetite and enhances weight gain. And guess what, it is working on my kiddo. In just 2 days of taking this vitamin, my kiddo has gained back his appetite on foods. As a matter of fact, he always craves for more nutritious foods and I'm very happy with the effect on it to my son. At long last, I finally found the best supplement for him. I'll post its photo later.

3. Bendyk and I went malling a week ago. And he pissed me off because he'd go away from me to look for some things that interest him. He's like that when we're at the mall so I thought that maybe he's just around and has been keeping his eyes on where I am. I was carrying heavy bags that afternoon, so I didn't hold his hand on our way out of the mall. But I know he's following me when we passed by McDonald's. But before reaching the exit, I was astounded to find out that Bendyk wasn't with me.

I was really worried at that time and had 3 rounds to and fro the area where I last saw him. The mall was crowded then because the city is celebrating its fiesta. I decided to leave my grocery bags at the guard and headed my way to search for my kiddo. I was so happy to see him safe, roaming in circles close to the package counter. He was not crying then. He was only staring down the floor and roamed in circles. But when I got near him, He hugged me too tight and all of a sudden outburst his tears. I know right then that he was frightened when he didn't find me. My heart melted of seeing him like that. The people around had no idea that my boy was lost. They didn't even see him crying so they thought that he was just playing around.

It taught me a lesson and I bet my kiddo too. I've come to know him better. He is a brave kid who wants to keep his ego untouched when with strange people around. And he found my love and comfort enough to melt his heart.

4. My mom, our prince and I went malling two weeks ago and had our snacks at Jollibee. A service crew approached me and asked if I want to let my kiddo join their Halloween Costume Party. My kiddo heard it and confirmed that he really wanted to join the party. And since it's for my prince, I bought 4 tickets to the party, for him, mom, Jom, and of course for me.

The party was held at Landco Plaza on October 28, 2008. My kiddo wore his 1st Birthday Spiderman costume. It fitted on him this time since I bought it too big for his 1st birthday. My kiddo had so much fun at the party. By the way, it's his first time to attend a costume party. I want to expose him for such events so he'll get used to it. And I've seen him enjoyed much at the party. He even volunteered to ramp on the stage for the Halloween fashion show. Here are some of the photos taken:

5. Bendyk's can of Lactum was finally emptied. And so I decided to buy him Enfa milk and since he's turning 3 in a few days, I didn't buy him Enfagrow A+ anymore, which is for 1 year to 3 year old kids. I bought him the last series of Enfa milk instead, the Enfakid A+ which is for ages 3 to 6 years old.

From birth until now, he's a loyal drinker of Meadjohnson's Enfa series. It all started from me. When I was still an infant, my milk then was Enfalac. And so I passed mine to my baby. He completed the series, Enfalac, Enfapro A+, Enfagrow A+, and now Enfakid A+. Meadjohnson's Enfa A+ Series is known for its DHA, a brain enhancer stimulant. And now I will only let my kid stick to this milk.

6. It's All Saint's Day, but we already went to the cemetery as part of the tradition. The weather isn't good tonight so we hadn't stayed longer in the cemetery unlike before that we used to have a picnic style at Bicol Memorial Park. Tonight, we just lit candles to our loved-ones' tomb and uttered a 'lil prayer.

7. Yea, I've been very busy for the past few days (weeks), and up until now I have not yet made up my mind on what to prepare for my kiddo's upcoming 3rd birthday. It'll already be on the 5th of November and I haven't bought anything yet. I was thinking if we will have a pool party or a simple animal party theme at home. I'll settle on some DIY stuffs for his birthday to save from too much expenses. His first birthday party taught me a lesson to not spend more for things that I can prepare for myself. Yea, practicality knocks on me again. It's good though. Why spend a lot for a kiddie party? Kids aren't so demanding unlike adults. They can be happy for simple things, and not for a extravagant party, right?

I'll be very much busy tomorrow for a 3-day preparation for my kiddo's 3rd birthday party. I haven't even sent invitations yet. I'll make a list as early as tomorrow. I'll update you by then...

This is all for now...Ciao!

Have you heard about the later vision correction technologies? These new technologies have helped many civilians for a couple of years. As a matter of fact, the NASA and the U.S. military have innovative means of increasing their mission-critical personnel performance and that is through the use of these latest technologies.

There's what you call all-laser form of LASIK which is used by the Department of Defense (DOD) as well as the NASA in improving their specialized personnel's vision especially during extreme situations. You may learn more about this by reading LASIK information.

Furthermore, NASA were able to validate the safety and effectiveness of LASIK and they have proven that it indeed passed their quality standards. Just in case you don't know, iLASIK is a modern procedure that uses two lasers. A wave-front technology is used to map the unique characteristics of person's eyes. An ultrafast, which is a computer-guided laser comes next as it creates a corneal flap. It is this version of laser LASIK technology that is able to replaced the hand-held microkeratome blade which was present in the older version of LASIK. It is this procedure that makes the technology safe to use.

In the latest performance survey of LASIK, out of 100 military personnel who have benefitted from using this technology, there's about 95% of those who achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision. Thus, authority suggests that many should also try using this latest version of technology as it is indeed helpful in improving their vision.

Home "Bitter" Home

It's been like two weeks since we were discussing about purchasing that house and lot in Camella Homes Springville Subdivison which is located in Bacoor, Cavite. Hubby's aunt came home all the way from Hong Kong to check 4 units of house and lot. It's her new added business, realty. She volunteered to buy 1 unit (a foreclosed house and lot) for us but of course we have to pay for it on installment basis. It's a good deal though since we are no longer required to pay for the reservation fee, downpayment, and other processing fees for the documents.

As much as we want to see the place, hubby and I can't just leave like that since both of us are busy with our works here. Everything was almost OK except for the photos. Yes, we just settled on looking at the photos instead. Just two days ago the photos were sent via e-mail. I was expecting to see good shots of the unit since I'm into designs. But what the hell! I don't wanna spend a million (as if I have it, lol!) with the way I see it. Grrrr! Yes my dear, umiral na naman kaartehan ko. Hay ewan! I've been screaming in our bedroom because of the shots! Arrrgghhh! Although the house is fair enough for the price, but my kaartehan can't imagine how I am going to redesign the house. It's a 'lil bit old and I don't like the way it was designed by whoever architect made it. Of course, the thrifty me doesn't want to spend more for renovation. Although hubby's aunt volunteered to take charge of the renovation, but! but! expenses will be added on the total contract price which we have to pay for a couple of years. And I thought that it's impractical to settle on that. I'd rather buy a lot so I can build a house designed by yours truly.

For an about 2 hours or so, the irritable me had transformed again into my normal state. I was trying to absorb everything to come up with a positive decision although I already told hubby to say 'NO!" to his aunt. I looked at the photos again, and tried to redesign the house through my imagination. I was able to do so. However, something else came up on me again hahaha! Ako'y isang bagyo! The fickle-minded me decided to settle with a big "NO!" to that whatI call Home "Bitter" Home.

Oh, come on! Ask me WHY?! hehehe! The "Ilocano" me (w/c is what my hubby used to call me when we're having a fight) had think about purchasing a house and lot from her aunt. Of course, it will be named after my hubby's name and I can't do anything about it since it is her aunt who will settle the documents. And I have no guts to argue with her that what I really wanted is to put my name on the documents. Hahaha! Oo na! I know what you're thinking, lol!

Kelangan mautak pa rin eh! Imagine, I will be paying half of our monthly amortization and the other half is of course hubby's obligation. But hey! It won't be a conjugal property just in case we purchase the property. As you may know, hubby and I are still both single, but not available of course. I bet you know what I mean. Marriage may solve the worry, but it's still beyond my plans. We never know what's gonna happen. And sure you know that annulment is too expensive hahaha! Hay ewan, hindi solusyon ang kasal sa ganyan, lol! I already learned from my mom's and aunts' experience. Maybe when we reached the age of 40, that could be possible lol!

But still I'm not closing my plan on getting a home "sweet" home this time. Ssshhh...I'd just get one from PAG-IBIG financing so it'll be under my name. Hubby won't argue with me on this matter. He still has to pay half of the monthly amortization, and it's OK with him. But before we go on with that, I need to settle first the needed requirements, etc. How I wish we could already have one soon. Renting is waaay impractical than spending a million for a property. Wish us luck!

Gone are the days for diskettes that more often than not only gave me headaches before. You see, saving all your important files in a diskette is something you'd do so as to make sure that you always have duplicate copies of your files. But hey, it's not that reliable though. I even look at it as a disposable stuff that anytime soon can get busted without you ruining it.

I am just too grateful that finally, flash drives do exist in this day and age. I am now at ease that all my files, whether it's a picture file, documents, music, or videos, I can always have them all in expected or most unexpected times I need them. I have here with me a 4G flash drive and for more than 6 months of owning it, there's still a huge memory capacity waiting for more and more pictures, music and videos.

Personalized Flash Drives

But since I had my not-s0-good memories using the diskettes, I'm some kinda getting paranoid of what if it could also happen to my flash drive. And so, I am now planning to buy a new one so I cannot only have duplicate copies of my files, but even more copies of them just by having this finger sized flash drives. It comes so handy so it's easy for me to carry them every time.
