Voice Broadcasting

We're off to Manila this coming February and we haven't paid yet for the apartment rent. I just realized that renting a place in the big city is way expensive than in the province. But our decision is final, we'll be moving soon. How I wish we can have our own home this year. This makes me read more information on Mortgage Leads and it just happened that information are properly disseminated through the Voice Broadcasting feature of their site.

I am not really into making a New Year's resolution because as I've said it only remained listed on a sheet of paper or stamped on my brain. So I don't take it seriously. But now that I feel more mature, I guess it's high time to make a list.

2009 New Year's Resolution:

1. Re-start flipping my Purpose Driven Life Book and read it with my whole heart and soul.
2. Attend mass at the Christian Church every Sunday. Hopefully, I'll try my best to become a real Christian this time.
3. Be more patient hehehe!
4. Practice strict Time Management
5.
Work harder. I might also look for an office-based job aside from working online.
6. Finish assigned business plans.
7. Start flipping my cookbooks and learn the art of cooking and also baking.
8. Prepare my little prince by teaching him Basic Preparatory Education.
9. Put up our own business and help out in establishing hubby's family business.
10.Enroll an Advanced Diploma in Business and IT Course at Informatics.

2009 New Year's Wishlist:

1. Dual Sim Phone for hubby
2. Vtech Educational Laptop for our Little Prince
3. Memory Stick for my digicam
3. 4 gig Flash Drive
4. Blank CDs for burned pictures and videos

It's already New Year and I am still wondering what resolution to make for this year. Making a resolution is never my cup of tea as it always remain a resolution even at the end of the year. So more often than not, it turned out to be a wish list instead of a resolution since it's easier to list the things you want to have than things you want to change hehehe!

And I'm just so happy that before Year 2008 has ended I am able to have some of the things on my 2008 wishlist, such as:

1. Laptop/Notebook

I'm a self-proclaimed web buff and hubby knows that. He knows how I feel bad when there's no internet connection or when there's a power interruption, and worst when my desktop PC get busted. In other words, I'm not complete without my techie buddy. That's why I have always dreamed of having my own laptop or notebook. But since I always weigh practicality over luxury, I wasn't able to buy myself a laptop. I thought 2008 will end without a laptop with me. I'm just so grateful that hubby bought me a brand new laptop, an ASUS Eee PC 4G Surf. It offers great specs. and it looks cool especially that the color is white the same as my present mobile phone. This is fine with me although what I am really eyeing on is the MSI Wind. Oh well, hubby doesn't know about this so he bought my first choice even before the year 2008 started. I'll surely love and take care of this since this is the most expensive gift hubby gave me. I love you hubby and thanks for being thoughtful! Mwah!

2. Dual Sim Mobile Phone

Bringing two phones is kind of a hassle especially that I am feeling paranoid that I might lose the other without noticing it. So I resorted to a dual sim mobile phone. I don't care if it's a China phone or the best branded phones available. What I'm up to is the price, the features, and of course, the look. And here's what I got before year 2008 ended, an iPhone Q380A+. Its best features that I heart most are as follows: dual sim capable, touchscreen monitor, bluetooth, mp3 capable, expandable memory card, built-in stylus, and its cool white/pink color.

3. New Wristwatch

Partnering my Guess leathered bracelet wristwatch with my gold jewelries doesn't look fine so I have always wanted to buy a new gold wristwatch. I don't have budget for that so I set it aside. But just this Christmas, hubby's aunt and uncle gave me a new DKNY gold wristwatch as my gift. It looks great and elegant especially with those black stones in its bracelet.

4. Flat TV

5. TV Rack

Home "Bitter" Home

It's been like two weeks since we were discussing about purchasing that house and lot in Camella Homes Springville Subdivison which is located in Bacoor, Cavite. Hubby's aunt came home all the way from Hong Kong to check 4 units of house and lot. It's her new added business, realty. She volunteered to buy 1 unit (a foreclosed house and lot) for us but of course we have to pay for it on installment basis. It's a good deal though since we are no longer required to pay for the reservation fee, downpayment, and other processing fees for the documents.

As much as we want to see the place, hubby and I can't just leave like that since both of us are busy with our works here. Everything was almost OK except for the photos. Yes, we just settled on looking at the photos instead. Just two days ago the photos were sent via e-mail. I was expecting to see good shots of the unit since I'm into designs. But what the hell! I don't wanna spend a million (as if I have it, lol!) with the way I see it. Grrrr! Yes my dear, umiral na naman kaartehan ko. Hay ewan! I've been screaming in our bedroom because of the shots! Arrrgghhh! Although the house is fair enough for the price, but my kaartehan can't imagine how I am going to redesign the house. It's a 'lil bit old and I don't like the way it was designed by whoever architect made it. Of course, the thrifty me doesn't want to spend more for renovation. Although hubby's aunt volunteered to take charge of the renovation, but! but! expenses will be added on the total contract price which we have to pay for a couple of years. And I thought that it's impractical to settle on that. I'd rather buy a lot so I can build a house designed by yours truly.

For an about 2 hours or so, the irritable me had transformed again into my normal state. I was trying to absorb everything to come up with a positive decision although I already told hubby to say 'NO!" to his aunt. I looked at the photos again, and tried to redesign the house through my imagination. I was able to do so. However, something else came up on me again hahaha! Ako'y isang bagyo! The fickle-minded me decided to settle with a big "NO!" to that whatI call Home "Bitter" Home.

Oh, come on! Ask me WHY?! hehehe! The "Ilocano" me (w/c is what my hubby used to call me when we're having a fight) had think about purchasing a house and lot from her aunt. Of course, it will be named after my hubby's name and I can't do anything about it since it is her aunt who will settle the documents. And I have no guts to argue with her that what I really wanted is to put my name on the documents. Hahaha! Oo na! I know what you're thinking, lol!

Kelangan mautak pa rin eh! Imagine, I will be paying half of our monthly amortization and the other half is of course hubby's obligation. But hey! It won't be a conjugal property just in case we purchase the property. As you may know, hubby and I are still both single, but not available of course. I bet you know what I mean. Marriage may solve the worry, but it's still beyond my plans. We never know what's gonna happen. And sure you know that annulment is too expensive hahaha! Hay ewan, hindi solusyon ang kasal sa ganyan, lol! I already learned from my mom's and aunts' experience. Maybe when we reached the age of 40, that could be possible lol!

But still I'm not closing my plan on getting a home "sweet" home this time. Ssshhh...I'd just get one from PAG-IBIG financing so it'll be under my name. Hubby won't argue with me on this matter. He still has to pay half of the monthly amortization, and it's OK with him. But before we go on with that, I need to settle first the needed requirements, etc. How I wish we could already have one soon. Renting is waaay impractical than spending a million for a property. Wish us luck!
